木曜は英会話の日！　今日は英単語を作るゲーム「スクラブル」を楽しみました！

日進市で、主に日進西中学校の生徒を中心に、生徒みずから主体性を持って学び、自分のペースで勉強できる、ICTを活用した自立学習による学びの場を提供している、セルモ日進西小学校前教室　塾長の西尾です。

I’m Nishio, the head of the Selmo Nisshin Nishi Elementary School Classroom, located in Nisshin City. Our focus is on providing a learning space primarily for students from Nisshin Nishi Junior High School, where they can take initiative in their studies, learn at their own pace, and utilize ICT for independent learning.

木曜は英会話の日！　今日は英単語を作るゲーム「スクラブル」を楽しみました！
Thursday is English conversation day! Today we had fun playing Scrabble, a word-building game using English vocabulary.

毎週木曜日は日進ベタニヤ教会で行われている英会話教室に通っています。
I go to an English conversation class held every Thursday at Nisshin Bethany Church.

今日は、サナ先生がボードゲームを用意してくれていました！
Today, Sanna had a board game ready for us!

プレイしたのは、スクラブルという英単語をクロスワードのようにつなげていくボードゲーム。
We played Scrabble, a board game where you connect English words together like a crossword puzzle.

自分も、中学生のときだったかに、遊んだ記憶がありますが、難しかったことしか覚えていないです。
I remember playing it myself—maybe back when I was in junior high—but all I really remember is how difficult it was.

今日はとっても楽しくプレイできたので、遊んでいる最中にAmazonでこのゲームを注文しちゃいました！
I had so much fun playing today that I ended up ordering the game on Amazon while we were still in the middle of it!

サナ先生も、紙の辞書を使ってもらいながら遊べば、辞書の引き方にもなれるので一石二鳥だねって。
Sanna also said that if we play while using a paper dictionary, it’s a win-win—students can enjoy the game and also get used to looking up words in the dictionary.

塾に届いたら生徒と遊ぶのが今から楽しみです！
I can’t wait to play it with my students once it arrives at my school!
