I’m Nishio, the head of the Selmo Nisshin Nishi Elementary School Classroom, located in Nisshin City. Our focus is on providing a learning space primarily for students from Nisshin Nishi Junior High School, where they can take initiative in their studies, learn at their own pace, and utilize ICT for independent learning.

一昨年11月から毎週木曜日に日進ベタニヤ教会で行われている英会話教室に通っています。
I’ve been attending an English conversation class held every Thursday at Nisshin Bethany Church since November the year before last.
今日は、オリジナルの日進市観光ガイドをみんなで考えてみました。
Today, we all worked together to come up with our own original sightseeing guide for Nisshin City.
自分としては、絶対に外せないのがここ五色園です。
Personally, Goshikien is a must—it’s the spot I just can’t leave off the list.
ここ、「五色園」は、鬼才・浅野祥雲が送るシュールなコンクリート像のテーマパークなんですよね。
Goshikien is one of a kind—a surreal park filled with concrete statues by the eccentric genius, Shōun Asano.

懐かしい名古屋の地下鉄や市電に出会えて、文字通りレトロな電車たちに乗ることができます。

あとは、来年の大河ドラマでまた注目度が上がりそうなのが「岩崎城」です。
And then there’s Iwasaki Castle, which will probably get even more buzz thanks to next year’s Taiga drama.

I’m almost certain that next year’s Taiga drama, “Toyotomi Brothers,” will include the Battle of Komaki and Nagakute.

Iwasaki Castle also has something special—a “suikinkutsu,” a water harp cave that makes a beautifully delicate sound.
