日進市で、主に日進西中学校の生徒を中心に、生徒みずから主体性を持って学び、自分のペースで勉強できる、ICTを活用した自立学習による学びの場を提供している、セルモ日進西小学校前教室　塾長の西尾です。

I’m Nishio, the head of the Selmo Nisshin Nishi Elementary School Classroom, located in Nisshin City. Our focus is on providing a learning space primarily for students from Nisshin Nishi Junior High School, where they can take initiative in their studies, learn at their own pace, and utilize ICT for independent learning.

Thursday is English conversation day! ～Our Last English Class of the Year at Starbucks ～.

一昨年11月から毎週木曜日に日進ベタニヤ教会で行われている英会話教室に通っています。
I’ve been attending an English conversation class held every Thursday at Nisshin Bethany Church since November two years ago.

今日は、年内最後の英会話クラスでした。
Today was our last English conversation class of the year.

教会が幼稚園の行事で使えなかったので、急遽スタバに移動してのクラスとなりました！
Since the church was being used for a kindergarten event, we ended up having our class at Starbucks instead!

自分が楽器を買った話しをしたら、サナからは自分には音楽の才能がなかったけど、サナのお兄さんは音楽の才能があったとのこと。
When I talked about buying a musical instrument, Sanna shared that she didn’t have much musical talent herself, but her brother did.

あとは、なぜかインド映画のお話に。
And somehow, the conversation turned to Indian movies.

サナが勧めてくれたのは、こちらの「Devdas 」という映画。

主演女優さんは、元ミス・ワールドということで最高に美しい女優さんとうっとりしながら教えてくれました。
She told me, almost dreamily, that the lead actress—Aishwarya Rai—is a former Miss World and absolutely stunning.

自分は、インド映画って、突然大人数で歌って踊ってといったカオスなイメージしかなかったのですが、サナは素晴らしいから是非見てね！と強くレコメンドしてくれました！
I told her that I’d always had a rather chaotic image of Indian movies, with sudden singing and dancing by large groups of people. But Sanna strongly recommended it, saying it’s a wonderful movie and that I should definitely watch it!

せっかくのおすすめだったので、正月休みにゆっくり見てみようかなと思います。
Since it came so highly recommended, I’m thinking of watching it slowly during the New Year holidays.
